Who Makes MightyWidgets

MightyWidgets is built and run by Steve Sicherman, an independent software developer in Saskatchewan, Canada. Work on it started in August 2025.

What it is

MightyWidgets is an AI website widget builder. You describe the widget you want in plain English, the AI writes its HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and you embed it on any site with two lines of code: WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow or a plain HTML page.

Widgets can also collect things. Contact forms, polls, RSVPs and quizzes store their submissions and can email you each new one, without a separate backend or automation tool.

How it works behind the scenes

Published widgets are served from a global CDN on Amazon Web Services, inside a Shadow DOM so their styles can't clash with your site's. The AI that writes and edits widgets is a large language model reached through OpenRouter. Your widget's source is yours to keep editing; the History tab in the editor keeps every earlier version.

How it is priced, and why

Many widget services charge a monthly subscription and switch a widget off when it passes a view cap. MightyWidgets works on credits instead. The Free plan includes 50 credits for building with AI and 100 free widget loads a month. Credit packs can be bought without a subscription and never expire. If your balance reaches zero your widgets keep displaying, with a small "Powered by MightyWidgets" tag, so your site never shows a broken box.

The full details are on the pricing page.
